Youth Alpha @ attleborough sixth form

Hey guys, i thought it might be nice if i kept you updated on the happenings of Youth Alpha that i'm gonna be starting at my 6th form this term.

i got the go-ahead from the head of 6th form today, which is the first of many hurdles successfully leapt. my thought all along really has been that if God wants this to happen, the school will allow it, and if its not his plan, then thats that, and i'll pack it up. but yeah, the ball is now rolling.

another thing that is very encouraging, this evening i found a piece of paper that i must've written on a while ago, and in big letters it has the verse 'Depend on the Lord in whatever you do, and your plans will succeed' (Proverbs 16:3). I really feel that verse is for this time in my life. I've never done anything like this before, i've never stepped so far out of the boat, but i know God has big plans for this, and so all i can do is rely on Him. I guess i've got to become a bit of a F.R.O.G.

I'll try and keep you all updated the best i can on any further developments. Jacko and I are gonna properly discuss the whole mission sometime soon. I'm definately hoping to get the course running this term, hopefully november time, although sooner would be great. i have no idea how long everything is gonna take, so i'll need to plan that with Jacko. In the meantime, may i request that you all really pray about this? For strength for myself and jacko, and just to prepare the hearts of the people we're gonna be talking with. I dont think it would be a wacky idea to pray for revival in attleborough. Just any support would be awesome. and if you have any bright ideas about how we can promote it, and just generally run it, then any contributions would be fantastic. Thankyou all in advance.
