yeah, i'd pretty much be crying now, if i didn't keep getgting interrupted by a voice in my head saying 'they missed out this', 'in the book it was more THIS', or whatever.

yeah. on the other hand, i thought the LOTR films were better than the books. but i wasn't much of a fan of the books.

the lotr films are good, yeah. i tried reading the first book but found it too boring so couldn't continue. maybe i give up too easily though...

think you did the right thing. its full of loads of really boring passages, and pointless bits which are just annoying. you spend 50 pages reading about something completely new, and then he'll just go back to the plot, so it was completely irrelevant. its frustrating. all the interesting bits are in the films.

but they did miss out some important bits like when they took Saruman's staff away from him and robbed him of his power. And it didn't show them going back to the shire much, even though they dragged the ending out for about an hour. They were good though.

nope. i saw some awesome films in film studles. 12 angry men, metropolis. probably some others. 12 angry men is the best.

i was slightly disappointed that they only used the song during the end credits. i would've had it playing all the way through the film.
