thought i'd get the ball rolling with the faith bizwoop. interesting that it's the one thing people haven't spoken about. it is a hard thing to talk about though. why? does anyone know?

my church atm is doing a really good series on dealing with the past. i (and everyone else) started it thinking it would be good but not really relevent to them: I dont think there's been a person that not every service has touched so far. friggin deep stuff, and its really helpful. everyone seems to carry about so much burdon, pain, and issues with them that they hide and have no intention of dealing with, and i've never noticed how real an impact they have on our lives is before. The problem is it's so easy to find security in holding resentments against people, or feeling sorry for yourself etc. that way things are stable, and (in a way) easy.

speaking of which...stoney's a master of singing about that stuff, his songs make more and more sense as we go through the series
