so it turns out January 1st 2009 was National Shambles Day.
But the evidence so far is making it seem that actually 2009 is just one big shamble. last couple of days with josh were completely shambolic.
Frank's Bar (the sexy side of shambles) had no scrabble board. Will Herman is a shambles. on the way from James' to Dereham we got stuck behind the slowest (read: most shambolic) Christian Vauxhall i have ever witnessed. et cet, et cet.

my year seems to be picking up now. the first few days have been somewhat meh and pleh, but church today has made it all feel better. good.

good in a shambolic way, though? that's what i'm finding.
shambles isn't a value judgement, simply a classification.

on national shambles day josh broke my car window whilst shouting 'safety first!' at a rowdy cyclist. the irony is excrutiating.
but my dad fixed it with mechano.
therefore he is the anti-shamble.

i couldn't remember most of the shambles that happened that day, and the following day too (to josh, of course). there were so MANY.
