My Media Madness

yo yo. so my media coursework this year is to make a music video. i've chosen Paint The Town Red by delirious. we got told today the deadline has been brought forward to feb half term, and i still don't really know what i'm gonna include in the video yet. so... any ideas?

my thoughts at the moment are basically a few shots of a band playing the song, perhaps a bit of running round the streets of norwich, maybe a little bit of busking.
i've got a ton of cardboard boxes in my room because i was thinking of finding a field somewhere, building a town out of boxes and then throwing paint all over it, but i'm thinking more and more that's just a bit cheesy and too literal. what do you think?

any help would be wicked, coz i don't have a clue...
also, if you're up for being in it, maybe having a prance about in front of a camera, let me know and we'll arrange it.

i don't like the boxes idea, but i do love boxes. that's not being facetious... the moment i read that you had loads of cardboard boxes i was 'yeah! this is gonna be awesome!'. use them somehow. maybe have lots of different bits of busking, and each time have another box in front, so by the end you've got this sea of boxes in front of you like you're expecting people to donate a jet plane, or maybe like the boxes are spreading out to take the money from peoples' indifferent pockets, and they are like a virus. maybe they should also be painted red though, just for the hey-hey.

boxes with the busking is an interesting idea... the trouble is trying to make everything relevant. because it's coursework and not good, i have to have good reasons for choosing to do what i do. so if i can make it work, great. i'll put some thought into that.

so... red cardboard boxes. i was considering earlier writing some quotes on the boxes. maybe also cheesy? these are a few quotes i've found that could be usable:
