http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Number_23
the number 23. i will watch this film for 5 reasons (see the law of fives)
1. Jim Carrey is wicked
2. Discordianism is wicked
3. it looks a good film
4. i will find truth in it, because i will be looking (see the law of fives)
5. because i have 5 reasons to see it (see the law of fives)
yay.

i saw 50 first dates again today. it's not as bad as i remembered actually. but you're right about old school sandler ruling. kicks ass to newer stuff. what's he been in lately? i haven't seen anything he's been in since 50 first dates and 'anger management', which was the least funny comedy film i've ever seen, possibly.

i also saw anchorman for the first time recently. the same time phil said he'd seen it again. wicked film.
my music teacher lent me 'vertigo' by alfred hitchcock, supposedly his masterpiece, but that was before christmas and i still haven't watched it. i don't have enough time to have too much time on my hands these days.

just got back from hot fuzz. very very good. disgusting in places, but very fun nonetheless. i'll agree its not as good as SOTD, but it still had some classic moments. one of my favourite bits: when Nicholas throws Dan a gun, and says 'thats what i'm talking about'. brilliant.

LOADS of other people who watched it didnt likie it, the whole group or people who i was watching it share my views. maybe you have to learn how to translate the texan accent to understand the plot etc, but it just seemed so peicy and gormless and not together, there was a significant lack of information about anything that was happening.
